Picture Books The Day the Crayons Quit

The Day the Crayons Quit  has quickly become one of our favorites at Kidstop and soon will be yours, too.

It's the funniest and most original picture book we have found this year.  Duncan would like to draw, but instead of his familiar box of crayons, he finds a stack of envelopes.  It's a pile of letters from each of his crayons, and every single one has some kind of complaint.  For example, Red doesn't want to work on holidays anymore, since he has to color Santa at Christmas and hearts on Valentine's Day.   And that's only the beginningas  purple doesn't like it when Duncan colors outside the lines. Beige would like to color something interesting for once. Black wants to be more than an outline. Yellow and Orange both think they're the one true shade of the sun. Blue is short and stubby from filling in all of those big skies and oceans. Pink is tired of being ignored as a "girl" color and Peach, you'll have to hear that gripe for yourself!
